Duration (over 2 days): 2-hour drive (with commentary) + 2 x 2-hour guided tour in the cities+ 3-hour guided walk in the forest.
Rating according to the French Federation oh Hiking (FFR) scale:
Price*: €80 for the first adult, €40 for the next, €10 per child (maximum 3 people)
* includes travel between railway stations (140 km by electric car) and accompaniment; does not include accommodation or meals (but can be arranged).
Description:
- Departure from Surdon railway station (1h30 from Paris-Montparnasse station): visit to Sées and its Norman-style Gothic Cathedral, walk through the tall forests of the Perseigne massif on the theme of geology
- Overnight stay in Haut-Maine (not included but can be arranged) or camping in our 5000 m² wooded grounds
- The day after, guided tour (by electric car) through the Perche and Beauce regions to Chartres
- Return to Chartres railway station (1 hour from Paris-Montparnasse) after a guided tour of the medieval old town and its famous Gothic Cathedral, the first cathedral to be listed as a World Heritage Site.
