Each activity lasts 2-3 hours. It is up to you to choose the one(s) that interest(s) you, knowing that other people can join you within the limit of 10 places. Booking is required (see form).
Activity 1 - Discovering nature (on site and in the forest): introduction to botany, bird watching, meteorology, astronomy...
Activity 2 - Discovery of geology (hiking tours): commented circuits on the theme of geology, landscape reading but also bird watching, forest flora and also clouds!
Geo-Hike n°1 "Encountering the Perseigne fault": hiking tour through the Perseigne forest starting from the Woodland House.
Geo-Hike n°2 "Geological discovery of the Alpes Mancelles": walking tour through the relief of the Mancelles Alps , half an hour by car from the Woodland House then hiking tour.
Activity 3 - Discovery of the local heritage (guided tour of 2 to 3 hours by car and on foot):
History-Hike n°1 "From the Gauls to the English" with an outdoor visit of a reconstructed Gallo-Roman temple from the 1st century, feudal motunds from the 11th century, an English fortified village from the 12th century, an elegant manor house from the 16th century and the exterior of a charming castle from the 18th century.
History-Hike n°2 "Tour of the feudal mounds" : climb to the mound of Boitron, a feudal mound with a 360° panorama, of the town of Sées, ancient Gallic capital and former bishopric of Maine (feudal mound, gothic cathedral, palace gardens).
